Let it be.

We choose let it be because it’s our favourite song of the Beatles. We like this song because Paul McCartney wrote it after he dreams with his mother. He explain that his mother died when he was only 14 and that thing inspires him to wrote this song.

By Juan Cruz and Fran.

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

Queen: Bohemian Rapsody

Bohemian Rapsody

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.
Open your eyes, Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go, Little high, little low,
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me.

Mama just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he's dead.
Mama, life had just begun,
But now I've gone and thrown it all away.
Mama, ooh, Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

Too late, my time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, ev'rybody, I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth.
Mama, ooh, I don't want to die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango.
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very fright'ning me.
(Galileo.) Galileo. (Galileo.) Galileo, Galileo figaro
Magnifico. I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me.
He's just a poor boy from a poor family,
Spare him his life from this monstrosity.
Easy come, easy go, will you let me go.
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go.
(Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go.
(Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go.
(Let me go.) Will not let you go.
(Let me go.) Will not let you go. (Let me go.) Ah.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
(Oh mama mia, mama mia.) Mama mia, let me go.
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me.

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye.
So you think you can love me and leave me to die.
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here.

Nothing really matters, Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters,
Nothing really matters to me.

Any way the wind blows.

We decided to choose 'Bohemian Rhapsody' because, apart from the fact that it is a classic and the most popular Queen's song, It's also one of the greatest songs ever written.
It was recorded in 1975 and released on the same year by Freddie Mercury, inmediatly it became a hit. The album where it apeared at first was "A Night at the Opera". The music is very original and the way they manage to create so many different voices is awesome. They are only four guys but when you hear their songs, it looks like they were more o less 20 people. It is very interesting when you stop for a while to hear carefully the lyrics.

Nirvana's songs

Tourette’s

Moderate Rock
Moderate Rock
May day, every day, my day

Could've had a heart attack, my heart

We don't know anything, my heart

We all want something fair, my heart

Hey hey hey hey hey!

Out of town, out of sight, is my heart

Queen of lies, today, my heart

One more on the phone, my heart

One more at the door of my heart

Hey hey hey!

Mean heart!

Cold heart!

The title of this song refers to Tourette’s syndrome, which is a disorder characterized by the presence of multiple physical tics involving the entire body, such as kicking and stamping and at least one verbal tic.The verbal tics may also be expressed as the involuntary use of obscene words or socially inappropriate words and phrases or obscene gestures, and i think that Kurt Cobain made this song thinking about those times when we feel like if we were under the influence of this syndrome and we couldn´t control ourselves. This happends often to me, and i love those moments because i feel free and i don’t think about what i’m doing or saying i just do it, and that’s all. When i hear it i get involved in the sunds and i a lose my mind, it drives me crazy, actually.

Lithium

I'm so happy cause today I found my friends.

They're in my head. I'm so ugly. But that's ok.

'Cause so are you.

We've broke our mirrors.

Sunday morning.

Is everyday for all I care.

And I'm not scared.

Light my candlrs.

In a daze cause I've found god.

Yeah I'm so lonely.

And that's ok. I shaved my head.

And I'm not sad.

And just maybe.

I'm to blame for all I've heard. And I'm not sure.

I'm so excited.

I can't wait to meet you there.
And I don't care.

I'm so horny.

But that's ok.

My will is good.

Yeah

I like it. I'm not gonna crack. I miss you.

I'm not gonna crack. I love you. I'm not gonna crack. I kill you.

I'm not gonna crack!

This song reminds me lots of feelings i used to have when i was younger, it represents the anger and the love at the same time.. It makes me think about a time full of confusion and desperation.
